The foundations of this nation are being chiseled away by those who want to live their lives according to their own principles, and lusts. Our laws, government, and institutions are being eroded, and we are seeing the results of it every day. I honestly never thought I’d live to see the day we are living in; and the confusion that people are swimming in. We are living in very similar days spoken of in the book of Judges, when every man did what was right in his own eyes. Jud 17:6, 21:25 This was one of the most violent, and lawless times in Israel.
Truth may be ignored, cast aside, over-taken by evil, but it remains the truth. A person can decide to rebel against the gender they were born in; but if a woman is born a woman, nothing will change that; unless she takes steps to change it by manipulation; such as surgery, the same is for the man. When God created us, and placed us within the gender He chose; it was for a specific purpose. He has plans and intentions for us that we may not ever know the full scope of in this life. But, if we surrender our lives and wills to Him, and decide to live within the commandments and ordinances He has set down for us; He gives us promises of His love and care. We are given the free choice to rebel; which is what the majority of the world has done, and we are reaping what we are sowing.
Regarding marriage; when Jesus walked the earth, he made very clear and concise statements as our guidelines of what God has ordained, and will bless; let’s take a look at what he said.
Mr 10:6-12 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
With this said, no one can question that in God’s eye’s, homosexual marriage is another example of man wanting his own way; whether God likes it or not. We seem to be back to the days of Judges; when everyone did what was right, in their own eyes.
