Jesus came up against this throughout his 3 years in ministry, even using those who opposed him to accuse him of having a demon, and using satanic power to perform the miracles he wrought; Oh yes, satan uses every card. (see also Mark 3:22)
Mt 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
Mt 12:25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
What did Jesus do? He gave an answer that none of them could dispute.
Mt 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? Mt 12:27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
Mt 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Jesus also tells us that we will get the same accusations, and to expect them.
Mt 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
Mt 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
Mt 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
Mt 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Mt 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Mt 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Mt 10:31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Every time we become aware of accusations and lies that come against us, we can remind ourselves of these verses. And, that one day there will be a payday.
