God's people are going to find themselves getting into situations where their going to have to make a stand for their faith-in public, in schools, in the work place, that aren't going to be easy. The laws, and social climate is not going to get any better. If you stand for righteousness, against sin, and call sin for what it is-your going to find the atmosphere will become hostile, and you may very well lose your circle of friends, jobs and family members. If you choose to try to be a closet Christian, and make no stands-you'll risk falling away completely, and backsliding into the world-and lose your salvation. There's lines being drawn in the sand, and those who won't pay the price to stand with Christ will cave in. The video below came up on my Youtube page the morning of the 24th, and as I listened to it; the message contained all that the Lord had spoken to me as I laid in bed the night before including the scripture verses given to me. I heard the Holy Spirit speak to my heart He wanted this posted for those who come here, who call themselves Christians-to give warning, and encourage them to get closer in their walk with Him, they will need to; for strength, and to increase their faith in the days ahead.
This scripture was in the sermon below, which the Lord spoke to me was the most important concerning His direction for His people:
2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
There's no shortage of churches and large ministries that preach a watered down gospel, and a lot of teachers who stand on platforms with no bible in sight, and can pace back and forth and talk for over an hour, and deceive many. You can know their level of real commitment to God by how they deal with issues like homosexuality, adultery, alcoholism, pornography, abortion, etc., if they never preach against it in the pulpit-there's a reason for it, and it's usually either because their involved in it, or have no backbone to speak up against it. If they never preach against it, I'd find another church to go to.
These people also cover each other's backs and stand with each other, no matter what the scripture teaches. When you speak up about it, you will find yourself blackballed. Paul did, Jesus did, and if you stand for what is right, you will. The level of slander, backstabbing, and undermining has been worse than I anticipated, but I wasn't surprised.
I just challenge people to pick up your bibles, and read them, get alone with God and read His word. When you do, and then you listen to these false teachers-you'll be left having to make a choice; listen to them, or the word of God. I've made my choice-scripture is the final authority.
In the coming year, the two websites and these Facebook pages will stay up, but there will be nothing shared by me personally, unless the Lord clearly puts something specific on my heart to post. What is shared-whether it's a sermon, teaching, poem, etc., will be from those who are already gone on to be with the Lord, or someone I know won't object. I have decided to stop posting from most of the larger ministries. People who are already in heaven I'm sure do not care if their work is shared-and will not be offended. What's shared here for the most part will be for those who are going through trials, deep valleys, and need encouragement, a word of hope, while also posting some sound teaching along the way. If this site only ministers to a few, one or two-that's fine with me.
It hasn't been easy doing these sites, or this ministry. I procrastinated for 3 years before obeying, I'm not proud of admitting this, just being honest. I believe now the purpose of them, and what God's intentions were in them have been for the most part fulfilled. Now I intend to go back into obscurity, and finish my own journey and personal commitment with the Lord. In cold winter days, I find a lot to do with study, research, and other business-and look forward to warm days ahead in spring, and getting my kayak back out on the water, hiking, and other outdoor events.
May God's blessings be with each of you in the coming year.
